the great, the avarage and the ugly
normally it's the good the bad and the ugly but follow along and see if this fits

ok so weekend started out on Thursday, why you ask well because i didn't sleep on Friday. so woke up Thursday for me, most of you call it Wednesday evening. went to work came home started packing for the weekend and picked my brother up from work. the sleep that should have happened didn't so i just went to work again. this brings us to Friday morning. shower finish packing and head to the hotel. arrive only 6 hours early. wander meet and greet people get set up and then i see what had to have been the best White Elephant Burlesque Society show to date. it was a best of show so i kinda stood to reason it'd be a hit. then saw Repo The Genetic Opera complete with shadow cast. liked the movie not a big fan of the cast some were good others not so much. i think our ladies would have been better that their choices but i might be bias.

so far this has hit on great (the show)and average (lack of sleep)

4am sleep was had 4-5 hours and i was revitalized. then it was run around some and prepare for Candyland Brothel VS T.I.T.S. a panel brought to you by The White Elephant Burlesque Society. I only had one thing i had to do and 2 i realized when i got there. the one thing was to carry off Jordana at a set time without hurting her or anyone else. the other two were keep people outside from making too much noise and to keep the doors clear for the aforementioned carrying. i had to tell the same people 4 time to clear the door, the fifth time i just carried Jordana out the door at them. the show seemed to go very well and everyone seemed to have a good time. then it was off to get set for "THE" show. now anyone who knows me knows i suffer from severe stage fright normally after several weeks of rehearsals and at least 2 shows under my belt i loosen up. well thats not quite how White Elephant works. we rehearsed twice and this was the only performance. i went about what needed to be done and relegated the screaming part of my brain to remembering everything i've ever read. that accomplished i helped Virus out of Regina and went to see as much of the show as i could. HOLY FUCKING HELL what i saw was amazing. not only did they blow the day before's show out of the water they did it with about 400+ people (more than Repo i might add)watching. then came our turn. i decided not to screw up Virus's performance by being self conscious so i just went with it. the only thing i think i can criticize was the bag falling onto Virus after she gutted me. i'll just have to wait for others to add constructive criticism to the act. (if theres any let me know if not cool beans) the high from that lasted the rest of the weekend.

that was also the great, the average was that i had a pulled muscle in my thigh from walking up 8 flights of stairs twice and knots in both shoulders causing a pinching in the nerves of my neck and back. but hey this is what i do at least i didn't have to wear armor all day.

i was tired for the trip home on sunday but still aglow. went to work drained but happy. it's when i got home Monday morning that things started heading south. for those who know my dad is in a physical rehab place to learn how to walk again after suffering nerve damage from having a plastic vein put in his leg to help circulation. well the weekend nurse screwed up and didn't follow the DR's orders. so he was in pain and swelling again. needless to say little sleep was had due to worrying. when i got home on Tuesday i found out the wound was infected. as of 7pm last night he was back at RWJ hospital due to have surgery again at 1pm today. if all goes well lots of pain and he heals, if not he loses his leg at about the hip.

there my friends is the ugly to top it off i'm broke until tomorrow. now to sleep until surgery time.
